30 Before 30 - Becoming My Best Me

How It Started

Turning 30 has always seemed like a daunting number and age. A whole new decade of life filled with change, growth, and a fresh perspective. I watched my sister and husband step into that season this year. My sister started her "Year of 30" challenge, consisting of a new 30 day challenge each month.

Her idea inspired me to start my own journey and really look at the things I haven't done yet but have always wanted to do.

Why I Started My 30 Before 30

My 20s have been some of the most transformative years of my life. Through marriage, buying and renovating our first home, motherhood, and deep loss. I've experienced so much, but the most pivotable change in perspective came from becoming a mom.

Growing through motherhood doesn't mean losing yourself. It means rediscovering yourself. Push yourself. Be better. Do better. Show your kids what's possible and that hard work, consistency, vision and passion can get you anywhere you want to go.

It all starts with digging deep and asking yourself:

What do you want?

What are your dreams?

What are your goals?

So, What Is On This List?

Creating my list came fairly easy, I'm a dreamer at heart, always thinking of new goals and what to achieve. My list encompasses a little bit of everything, some deeply personal things, some fun and lighthearted, and some serious, life-shifting goals.

30 isn't "the end of the road" it's just a new chapter. The chapter that brings me closer to becoming who I truly want to be, not just for my family but for me.

Bucket list titled "30 Before 30" with activities like starting a blog, getting a tattoo, running a 5K, and singing karaoke. Cream and green theme.

Do You Have Goals?

Now that I've shared mine, what about you?

Do you have goals? Dreams?

Have you asked yourself lately what is it that you truly want?

Maybe it's as simple as a finishing a book or carving out more quality time for family and friends. Or maybe it's as complicated as designing a whole website and starting the blog you've always wanted to. Whatever it is, do it.

Do it because you want to.

Do it because becoming the best version of yourself isn't just for your kids, your spouse, and everyone you, but for you.

Stick Around

I can't wait to continue sharing my journey through my 30 before 30 list, the struggles I face, the goals I achieve, and the memories I make.

Thank you for being here.

I can't wait to hear about your goals and see if you decide to create a bucket list of your own! I hope you do!
